Mike Newman and John Galloway, along with Drew Langdon met up with the Harbour Master of Torquay and his assistant to talk through the details of the proposed water speed record. The Harbour Authorities were extremely supportive and are going to allow us to run the powerboat in the bay itself . A date has been set for the event which is the 5th September 2012. The Harbour Master is making contact with the elected major who we are hopeful will attend the event. The Harbour Authorities are working closely with us to maximize the publicity in the local area and also help us to engage with general public.
